Hello world! welcome to the blog of Knitter’s Playground. This yarn store is located in Davis, Ca at 132 E st. #350 in Mansion Square.

I am the owner, Rebecca and I hope by this blog to keep customers and future customers informed about events and new yarns at the shop. See you all soon!

There are many things happening around here:

•   We are expecting a trunk show from Rowan any day now which will include garments made from the Bamboo Tape and Summer Tweed yarns.
• New colors in the Panda Cotton from Crystal Palace yarns has arrived and will be hitting the shelves any minute.  if ever you are in need of a pattern for Crystal Palace yarns, don’t forget that they have many MANY free patterns on their website www.straw.com
• We have scheduled some kids classes for the summer and so if you know any little people who would like to take some time to learn to knit, bring them in!

I know summer slows down the knitting/crochet/textile process of many of you, but don’t forget to drop in and say hello every once in a while, We will continue Knit night on Mondays from 6pm-9pm throughout the summer and hope to see new projects and hear about the summer getaways you all have planned!

Also, I would like to start a gallery of customer projects and so if you finish something, wear it in!  we’ll snap a picture and feature you on the site!
